Who IS NoraGrace?

NoraGrace is not me.....my name is Janet.  So, who IS NoraGrace?  Well, this takes us back some 60 plus years or so.  My maternal grandmother is Nora Bell and my paternal grandmother is Grace.   Such loving and wonderful grandmothers that a girl of any age could ask for.

Nora Bell (we called her granny) didn't talk much but her smile was one that would light up the room. She didn't chuckle or have ear-splitting laughs that you could hear above the roar of so many others that were laughing in the room.   We are a lively bunch that enjoys each others company and are always willing to see could tell the funniest story in our loudest voice.  I wonder how any of us lived to have good tone in the ear.

Grace (we called her grandma) was amazingly beautiful with a kind spirit that I hope my future grandchildren will recognize in me. Grandma raised a family of two girls and six boys and don't you know that is more than enough to keep the stories pouring out for years to come! Oh my goodness, just think of all the food on the table and the dishes that had to be cleaned.   Whew!  makes me tired just thinking about it.

Blogging Prelude

Hello from a first time blogger.   I will be posting about my paper craft projects and also rambling on about thoughts that cross my mind.  You will read about my family some of which are old people and some are very young....they mostly are very funny and quirky types.   We are southern born and raised an can trace our history back to Pennsylvania in the 1600's.  So hang on tight and  come back to see me when you can.
